Stay on your hair loss treatment. See how it's going.

Hairbook is an iPhone app for people on hair-loss treatment. Tick off every dose, take progress photos that line up with the last ones, and bring a clear record to your doctor.

  • Photos never leave your iPhone
  • No ads
  • Never chooses your treatment

Made with ❤️ by someone on treatment, for people on treatment.

Why it exists

Hair changes slowly. Memory isn't a good record.

Finasteride, minoxidil, PRP or a transplant: most treatments take months before anything shows. Bad lighting and a new angle can make a good month look bad. Hairbook makes every photo comparable and every dose countable, so you're judging real progress, not a bad mirror.

Everything around your treatment, in one place.

Hair-loss treatment runs for months before change is visible. Hairbook keeps what you need to remember, and shows you how it's going.

Your regimen, on time.

Add your tablets, topicals and supplements with your own doses and times. Today shows what's due, and a tap logs it.

  • Reminders that stop once a dose is ticked

Progress photos, every few months.

Each session covers five angles: front, left, right, top and crown. You choose how often, from weekly to every six months, and Hairbook reminds you when one is due.

  • The last photo shows over the camera so every angle matches

FAQ

Questions.

What is Hairbook?

Hairbook is an iPhone app for people on hair-loss treatment. It keeps your doses, progress photos, check-ins and lab results in one place, so you can follow your treatment over months.

How do I take progress photos that can be compared?

Your last photo from the same angle shows faintly over the camera, so you can match the angle. After you take the photo, you can drag, pinch and rotate it to line it up exactly with the last one before saving. Each session covers five angles: front, left, right, top and crown.

Does Hairbook analyse my photos?

No. Hairbook does not score or measure your photos. You compare any two sessions yourself, with a slider, side by side or blended.

Which treatments can I track?

Any treatment you already take. You add your own tablets, topical treatments and supplements, with your own doses and times. Hairbook never chooses or recommends a treatment.

Does Hairbook give medical advice?

No. Hairbook is a tracker. It does not diagnose, treat or recommend treatment. Talk to your doctor about your treatment.

Are my photos private?

Your progress photos never touch our servers. They are stored only on your iPhone and never uploaded, to our servers or to iCloud. They are part of your iPhone backup, so setting up a new iPhone from a backup brings them with you. Your other records are kept in a private area of your account and sent over encrypted connections. You can add a Face ID lock and delete everything from Profile.

How much does it cost?

If you join before Hairbook launches on the App Store, it is free for life. After launch, new users get a 7-day free trial and then a subscription through the App Store, yearly or monthly, which you can cancel at any time. There are no ads.

When is it available?

Hairbook is in TestFlight now and coming soon to the App Store for iPhone.

Who makes it

I built it for myself first.

I started hair-loss treatment in 2026 and couldn't find a tracker that kept my doses and photos together and stayed private. So I made one. Hairbook is the app I use every day, and I hope it helps you stay on track too. ❤️
